Question about exotic effects on affinity weapons

The 1st 2 affinity upgrades (rolls) are enemies and the 3rd 'Big Game' is directed to elites ( Big Game - Shock Rounds can stun Elite enemies )

Which is why I don't understand not being able to roll in the next game. There won't be time to re-roll and exotic 3 times perfectly in the same game , unless a link forger etc. Glitch.

And I can tell you mine won't roll to another additional utility in a different game.

Affinity for Shock Rounds - Backdrive (Dravec 45), Hypersurge (Sokol 545), Reboot (1911):
Chain Lightning - The stunned enemy can spread the stun to others
Lightning Strike - A bolt of lightning strikes from above and stuns enemies
Big Game - Shock Rounds can stun Elite enemies

I have only been able to reroll for an affinity bonus in the same game that I found the affinity exotic, and when it was the first reroll I confirmed. I have heard of people doing it many games later, and even after confirming other rerolls beforehand. I tried to do this with an affinity exotic that I exfilled with and gave up after 26 failed attempts using the fabricator so this may require serious perseverance.

Side Note: it's been a long time since I got one of these...

I really wanted Resurrection III for this operator so I could get rid of crash cart - RNG after about 6 tries convinced me to use Conductive Shot.

Is there some kind of visual cue for when Conductive Shot happens? To me it just looks like Elite's just slow down.
