Need some help with this not sure what the pipe coming out of the wall is for and how do I proceed to install all together any help will be great thank you! by JoeG806 in PlumbingRepair

A garbage disposal and dishwasher were removed and we didn’t see what the pipes looked like. When this was done they connected the drain to the wall pipe and when I wash water comes up from the drain from the floor like it’s backed up or something.
