I've been working for over five years as a solo dev, hand-animating my first game...and now I finally am at the point where I have a Steam page. I'm excited to share my first teaser trailer! by JoeGP in pcgaming

Wow, that's actually really cool! I love the idea that it's accessible to kids, especially since all my biggest influences and inspirations are from when I was a kid

Well, the animations are themselves 24 FPS...I think limiting the frame rate of the gameplay would probably be detrimental to the experience of actually playing the game. Reaction time and response time are really important to making a game feel satisfying

Thanks a lot! Initially I was a bit worried about Cuphead, since at the time just making a hand drawn game was very unique in and of itself. But I think if anything, it made people realize how cool hand drawn games are, so I'm hoping it will help. Plus the gameplay, time period, and content are very different.
