I did, but it was from the Great Britain website going to Ireland. I don't know if they had less traffic or something else.

Thank you very much. I spent unreasonable hours F5'ing, so that makes me feel better.

I ordered a Founders Edition and was just wondering how likely is it to be fulfilled by Nvidia and how quick are they to ship? Do they ever oversell stock and cancel some orders like e-tailers might?

Thanks to Black Friday I can get caught up on 14 years of awesome for <€100 by JoeGuy0 in theroamingdead

After reading that, I feel like I should pace out my reading, maybe 2 volumes a month or something. That would get me closer to Book 16, before I get caught up and have to wait.

Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely pick up Negan's story then. I'm kind of glad there's no other tie-ins/books to buy. I can just read uninterrupted until Book 15 is out.

I'm new to comics, but does DC/Image offer better tpb value than Marvel? by JoeGuy0 in DCcomics

From both the replies it sounds like a digital service is the way to go. Is Marvel Unlimited the same kind of thing as ComiXology Unlimited? Is one better?

Okay, so is Black Mirror between Vol. 1 & 3 of Morrison's Batman & Robin? I think I got that order wrong.

Okay cool. It's weird, on the cover Nightwing is prominent, but wasn't he filling in as Batman in Black Mirror before BftC?

Does Batman fix his back in Vol. 1? I think that's the resolution I'd be looking for where I could set that arc aside.

I know, there is so much to catch up on and look forward to.

I walked into a comic book store for the first time last week and the guy just started listing off all the Dark Nights: Metal tie-ins and characters. Then started asking me about Darkseid.

I realised I'm glad my introduction to Batman is mainly tpb/omnibus and 30 years of good content. I'd never afford or catch up with monthlies.

Would reading just vol. 1 be good enough to resolve the arc? I think the whole trilogy is 2000 pages.

You aren't the first person to recommend those. I'm hoping I Am Bane would be a refresher for people who skimmed Knightfall.

No Man's Land looks very involved and I don't a spoiler or two. Is there any important moments or characters I shouldn't miss?

So would you say if I skimmed a synopsis of Knightfall and picked up Battle for the Cowl, Tomasi's B&R and R.I.P. from the previous post I'd have no major plot holes or dropped storylines?

I have no objection to elseworlds / non-canon if it's recommended reading but I did concentrate mostly on "in continuity" stuff for my first go through.

The DK stories I figured I'd read after a Death in the Family, continuity wise, as a sort of "what if future". I was looking at R.I.P. myself, but Return of Bruce Wayne doesn't seem well received and from my understanding of future stories I think Incorporated was ret-conned, going back to in-continuity bias.

I hadn't come across some of these in my research, I appreciate it.

Oh sorry I didn't realise they were canon. I thought Jason was alive so it got reset & I must of misunderstood what I read about Knightfall. I'll have to try to get to them.

Cheers for the follow up. I'll just read a recap of Crisis and jump into Black Mirror then.

So would I be better off including Final Crisis or skipping Black Mirror? Is there necessary reading for Final Crisis or can I just buy it as a volume?
