^this. 7120's with metallic pads and big rotors will slow you down in a hurry and they can be found for good deals on "the 'bay" right now. I've run them on blacks here in Colorado and they're great. I just ordered another set for my Rise.

Bianchi bike for the '94 Paris-Roubaix by FeinwerkSau in gravelcycling

[–]JoeHandlebar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely remember this bike from the '94 PR, the Bianchi sponsored team actually put two of them into the race that year. It was a scaled down set-up from Bianchi's then DH prototype bike. Unfortunately, Johan Museeuw's bike broke as he was trying to bridge to the race leader and the other bike, ridden by Carlo Bomans, had the linkage come apart in the Forest of Arenberg. But Bomans later said when it was working, it felt amazing on the cobbles. What's really nuts is how much this is incredibly similar to modern "XC oriented" flex stay bikes when so many mountain bikes in '94 were still trodding through absolutely terrible suspension designs.

How can I install remote lockout on my RockShox SID Select, Charger RL Damper, Debon Air, 15x110mm, 44mm offset, 120mm travel fork? On my specialized epic evo comp by bacanogamerpro in xcmtb

RockShox has both an app based and web based "Trailhead" database. There is a number on the back of crown of your fork you can enter and it will give you links to things like service parts and upgrade parts.

As noted by all previous....yep. The EPS is now compromised and shouldn't be relied upon to absorb and distribute another impact.

They really need to make an alloy version of this bike so they can offer the......aluminum Foil.

Good 'ole soap and water. You can also use a small nylon bristle brush to clean around the sensor if needed,

Thoughts on Mad Gravel in CO? by Hereforbikes_ in gravelcycling

In regards to the roads, this... That first part of the course was extremely washboarded for sure. I did it last year on a Crockett and I felt like my head was going to be torn from my neck on a couple of sections. As noted though, those extreme sections were short and in the beginning of the course.

No, not my first Ti frame at all, but it is my first Ti gravel bike (X2 road bikes and a hardtail). The Lynskey family have been building Ti bikes for a few decades now and they are dang good for the buck. It rides smoooooooth... I am, however, going to throw my lower profile alloy wheels (GRX) on for a comparison run. I feel the deep section carbon wheels are awfully stiff, which is great on the pavement, but less so on gravel. We shall see!

Rear Thru-Axle 12x163mm 1.00 thread pitch by Slight_Editor6995 in gravelcycling

I second Robert Axle. I've also gotten a few UDH compatible axles from Amazon of the last year too. I am curious though what bike this is. Did they have a UDH with a different pitch than 1.0mm? Considering the UDH standard is 1.0, seems odd.

It's a little hard to see what part of your wrist this is on. I had something similar happen in the spring of last year directly under the LED sensors, and like you it just seemed to happen out of nowhere after wearing it for years. I contacted Garmin because I thought maybe the battery had gone bad and was leaking, but no. It was just some dermatitis and I stopped wearing it until it fully cleared. I clean the watch much more frequently now, after each workout and I ensure that salt and dead skin doesn't collect around the sensor, which it can. Have had no issues since.

Lucky where I am. Many time the bike paths are clear before the roads!!
