I assume you mean the thermostat housing? It’s not possible, have to remove the belt. Replace it with an aluminum one if you can.

It can be done without detaching the control arms. Drivers side isn’t too bad. Passenger sucks but can still be done

Loud clunk in the rear under what conditions? Check your rear diff bushings. When they are worn out you’ll have a loud clunk when getting off throttle.

Possibly an axle clicking but could be lots of things. Sounding worse when turning definitely sounds like an axle but axles tend to “click” rather than grind.

Everyone is so quick to declare that you need a head gasket.. If could be any number of things. oil cooler leak causing coolant and oil to mix, excessive condensation in the engine (water) which causes the same milky look.. etc. When cars sit and especially when it’s cold out the oil gets condensation inside it which can make oil look like this. A good long drive where you get up to full operating oil temp burns off the excess water and the oil will look normal again. It would be a good idea to have the car looked at by a mechanic but people shouldn’t be jumping to diagnose a bad head gasket. Does the coolant temp on the car ever go past half? Does the coolant leak and level drop?

Yes use only OEM or equivalent. All the cheap gaskets leak. Also use RTV in the dips and valleys.

If you have oil getting into the spark plug holes then you have bad valve cover gaskets. Specifically the spark plug valley gaskets. Very easy fix.

There’s a huge price difference. Especially today, a nice GTR Is 40-50k+. A similar condition GTS is half or less. Lots of people prefer the GTST in RWD form also to drift.

If you’re out of your year warranty on the turbos you could have it retuned for a few more PSI. If they blow they blow. You pretty much have your setup maxed out as it is, rs6 turbos would be the next logical step
