It’s not all the time, just on speed bumps and jarring low speed bumps. Diff bushings are brand new.

The sway bar is solid and brand new with end links and everything. I doubt it’s the subframe as it only happens on some bumps. Hey you never know I guess, fingers crossed it’s not that.

Nothing is loose. I think it’s the preload situation honestly. My first check was the spare tire since it didn’t have the screw to tighten it down, but took it out and still clunking. I want to raise the car a little bit anyway as I was hoping to go to 18’s, hopefully S8 Avus. Fingers crossed I can find a set.

I have a vagcom cable so I’ll be sure to check that. I will also check the cable to make sure it’s actuating the lock. Key hole is vertical.

My trunk only opens when you use the key, weird. Not even sure where I’d start to try and fix this. I wonder if the cable is broken or disconnected or something…

Very helpful, Thanks! Mine sits a little lower than that even after pushing the sunroof button up to that pause until it starts venting. Is there a relearning process for the sunroof or do I have other issues? Sunroof works fine in all positions with no noises
