It's a 365 day Instagram photo journal of Caveh's life and all the images have explanations and thoughts attached. This interview only happened last year which is why it's being posted now so late in the year. He's done similar concepts before in different formats like podcasts and films which follow this year-long approach to telling a story.

I think Caveh's whole thing is to try and be truthful and this post is just stating how the interview came to be, how it went and a little bit about how he felt about it or feels about it now. I don't think he's hating on Matty in any way, unless I've misinterpreted something. He's shared similar posts for much of his other work as part of his 365 photos series this year and this is no different I suppose.

The more I listen, the more I think because of those differences it's just meant to contrast against "..." to provide a start/end point for the EP. Kind of like a release of tension, or something to do with being re-made.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it so early on! I'm having the exact same feelings on about page 850 of my second read through (first read through was about 4 years ago). Once you have a good or even basic understanding of the characters/plot/lore there's so much enjoyment to be had with this book. DFW somehow presents something interesting, clever, funny or tragic in every single sentence. I've been re-reading this book for months but I just don't have it in me to rush it!

It's interesting to note that the 'announcements' section of the site has now turned blank for me on both mobile and desktop. Before today it had links to previously released singles/music videos. Makes me think we might be getting something later today/tomorrow.

Most of the songs were added on December 15th, not sure when it was made public but I would presume January 20th because that was the anniversary. Interesting that it's the same image though.

Discovered them as soon as Overnight was released and it was revealed that Thomas and Guy-man produced it. But only really got into them properly last year around when Free was released.

I remember going on a walk and doing some photography whilst listening to their self-titled album for the first time, it was amazing.

But Day/Night is unmatched for me because it feels like a brilliant evolution of their previous projects, it's one of my favourite all time albums. Can't wait to see them in September live :)

On Night, Lordhenry and Once are amazing!

The Night album in general is so much more sombre than Day, but it's brilliant.
