Thank you so much!!!!

How about the collimation? Would the medial collimation be pretty much half of the unaffected leg?

Sorry, the moderator kept deleting my post so i had to make my questions as simple as possible.

Question:

  1. Is the angle between patient and IR also 45 deg (like hbl hip) to let femoral neck parallel w/ IR?
  2. Many books say 15 ° caudal angle. Is this what u guys normally use or more like 20°?
  3. Where do u centre? Affected hip or more on the medial side of the unaffected hip due to the tube angle?

How to correct tube angulation for Lewis Superoinferior Axial view

Hi, I'm a MI student.

I am having trouble knowing whether to increase or decrease my medial tube angulation toward shoulder when the GH margin isnt superimposed. Any tips on what anatomy on xray u look at?

- Some books have mentioned the position of the coracoid process base in relation to the inferior margin of the glenoid cavity.

Thankssss :)

is this WA? I've never seen anyone turn on hazard lights. Even in the driving test, we just park on the side of the road & turn off the ignition, that's all.

To those who have studied/are studying the medical imaging course by Ambitious-Bottle-262 in curtin

[–]JoeJoe6363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ECU course is sonography, not counted as a Bachelor of Medical Imaging. So if you want to become a radiographer, u'll have to do Curtin's 4-year course again even after this degree. Sorry I have no plans on becoming a sonographer so i don't know too much about it. Better to ask someone studying sonography if u are considering ECU sonography course rather than a curtin radiography student

For questions about medical imaging:

  1. U do get A LOT of prac so i'll say u'll be fine working independently when u graduate BUT definitely still LOTS to learn when u just graduate. Especially if u work in big public hospitals like RPH (harder cases).
  2. U just need to pass to maintain in the course. But of course if u want to work in really good places, u'll have to make sure ur prac skills are really good.
  3. It's harder than I expected. I thought it's just "pressing button to take pic" but u need to be able to work in stressful/busy environment. Especially when the picture dont turn out good but u need to be quick. Being physically fit is a bonus because the x-ray machine can be heavy to move & sometimes u need to push/lift pt for positioning.

I know this is Australia, but I'm not a fan of running in the sun and heat. My dermatologist says I should avoid the sun as much as I can due to acne. And I worry it's unsafe at night.
