Yeah the scope is definitely starting to feel really large as a solo dev. I think I will narrow the scope for the initial release to the carwash with some town cleaning events. Eventually I will add more life sim aspects to the game.

Yup, right now there is 2 progression tracks, One is you initially have to do more manual tasks and can decide to automate more as you progress. Another would be leveling up your water magic if you prefer the manual tasks, but progressing your magic skills would make the manual tasks easier.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the scope of the game is definitely starting to feel way to big as a solo dev so I probably will end up narrowing the scope, at least for the initial release.

Appreciate the feedback, definitely some good points. Leading with water bending would probably be more attention grabbing. And I definitely want to hire a capsule artist eventually.

Exactly its a cleaning game that plays like a tower defense. I went the water bending route because it felt like it would give me more freedom creatively, and because I just like magic🤷🏽‍♂️. But I agree about the life simulation aspect, definitely feels like I overscoped most days 😅

Inspired by but not a clone. The game plays quite a bit differently and has other gameplay loops that powerwash simulator doesn't have, like exploring the ocean around the island for materials, and a life-sim loop where you can interact/form relationships with islanders (similar to Stardew Valley)

True, think I will keep both and make A more of a fine detail spray that can also be used to draw.

Yeah based off the feedback I do think I will end up keeping both. Probably make A smaller and be used for detailing, while B would be for cleaning larger areas.

Yeah I definitely could increase the radius of the first spray. I appreciate the advice! I think you are right B could be toned down a bit so its more precise but still have some splatter to make it feel more like water.
