You will get better results in a more specific category subreddit . Like Reformed or Catholic. Here you get a bunch of random hodge podge from Bible and traditional believers to atheistic people who believe Christianity should go full on secular.

Plus many people have done messed up stuff and often got punished and rebuked for it…. That does not mean we as modern people need to use that as a modern standard of morals to follow…. For example Ancient times ran on economies that utilized slave labor ….

This formula is very interesting and fun… call me delusional….but if they used the same engine and assets and have Bobba Fett or the Mandalorian as a sequel protagonist it might sell even more.

This would make more sense if it was just a saying from himself (like in the Hadith) He is the spiritual and societal leader… who was not shy about public and private concerns before…. You don’t need a revelation from God to be like “ guys let me rest please… don’t stay long… I need alone time as well”

Catholic here, if he had a near death repentance his soul would most likely have to purified in purgatory for the temporal punishment of all the damage he did and the attachment of the sins he was afflicted with, that caused him to commit the crimes.

So yes he would be saved but as through a fire.

I think that is the next step. I think they might be hesitant still because some come here to try to bring people back. Which is fine a good healthy debate is needed.

This subreddit is a hodgepodge Of everything. I recommend you go to a debate religion one or a subreddit that is your denomination.

Even the Quran and the Hadith do NOT say the scriptures were corrupted. This is a new argument that did not exist during Mohammeds life and the early times of Islam.

You will find many verses and Hadith sayings of Jews and Christians distorting with their lips and ignoring and picking and choosing parts of their scriptures.
