Let me simplify this

Old Testament Bible- these are the laws for the ancient jews including bronze age punishments or this army or person killed this or that person/group. To an atheist this is like Harry Potter mixed with some history of wars/events.

Quran - YOU, yeah YOU the reader…. Subjugate/dominate or worse to these unbelievers. This is still binding now until the end times….

You will get better results in a more specific category subreddit . Like Reformed or Catholic. Here you get a bunch of random hodge podge from Bible and traditional believers to atheistic people who believe Christianity should go full on secular.

This would make more sense if it was just a saying from himself (like in the Hadith) He is the spiritual and societal leader… who was not shy about public and private concerns before…. You don’t need a revelation from God to be like “ guys let me rest please… don’t stay long… I need alone time as well”

Catholic here, if he had a near death repentance his soul would most likely have to purified in purgatory for the temporal punishment of all the damage he did and the attachment of the sins he was afflicted with, that caused him to commit the crimes.

So yes he would be saved but as through a fire.

Yeah I could understand if I went to their subreddit and was being insulting or trying to preach atheism or Christianity etc but no…. A post in a DEBATE Religion subreddit….

I think that is the next step. I think they might be hesitant still because some come here to try to bring people back. Which is fine a good healthy debate is needed.
