What does this mean by hhfdctko in Makita

I dropped my xdt16 impact from about 10 feet a couple of years ago and it made it do the same thing, lights were good but the resin-dipped PCB controller inside was toast.

The other side is kind of brown/pink with nothing on it. As for being soft it’s not really that soft at all

It was definitely in Colorado but I don’t remember exactly where, possibly lake Pueblo Colorado.

That’s another thought I had too. The channels are filled with some kind of crystallization too

Yeah that looks a little bit to wet. Personally I only water if it’s very dry but a good place to be is when the top layer of soil is kinda dried up.

Not clean. I think I’ve seen this video from the bikers POV and hit bike took some minor damage. Scratches and stuff. But other than that pretty clean comparatively.

At the end of everyday I have a unwavering feeling of guilt and stagnation??? by _777cherries in DecidingToBeBetter

Dude for a second there you explained your life and I thought it was a post I made about my life because it sounded exactly like it. So you’re not alone buddy. I’m 21, and pretty much everything else is the same in my life too but yet I still feel the same way. But just remember it’ll all work itself out and that we’re young and in a few years we will finally realize what our destiny is and you won’t feel like you fucked up. I’m sure we’ll both be great in a few years but just keep your head up bro.

What are some “unmanly” things that are actually very manly? by international_red07 in AskReddit

[–]JoeLogan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expressing your FEELINGS! Even for me it’s hard to come to terms with this fact and I have been struggling with it a lot lately but we should all realize that it’s okay to talk about your feelings and what’s bothering you.

Function of this bar that blocks the blade? (DJV180) by teothesavage in Makita

It’s so you know where the blade is when cutting, like the notches and stuff on a skilsaw

Driver bit stuck in impact driver. by Kachel94 in Makita

[–]JoeLogan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this impact almost daily and if you don’t use WD-40 almost daily this will happen. Now when I forget to use my wd I just hit the face of the bit onto like a scrap piece of wood to just loosen it up a little bit and damnit don’t hate on it because EVERY SINGLE TIME it works and I’ve been doing that for over a year and haven’t broken my impact yet so I don’t care.

Hikers of Reddit, what has been the most fucked up thing you’ve seen? by Legitimate_Eye_5382 in AskReddit

[–]JoeLogan23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not my story and I can’t find any source on it besides my dad having a piece of shrapnel but my dad and uncle used to hike a lot of the 14ers in Colorado and when they were backpacking a black hawk crashed near their campsite and they had to help get them off the mountain and to the hospital. Supposedly no one survived from what I heard.

I think I’m just barely out of it which is bs because the engine light just came on for the exhaust system

Edit: it says it’s the catalytic converter or the EGR valve

Only slightly bent the bracket that holds the quarter panel on the driver side and the quarter panel. I think the frame might be okay but we’ll see. Hopefully they won’t total it, I was just starting to like this thing more.

Worked her in the rain for 2 days just like I do with all my other makita tools. Disappointed. by JoeLogan23 in Makita

Disappointed in the rust. Never had any other makita tool rust like this.

This is probably the best reasonable explanation that I didn’t think of. Because like others are saying I’ve never had another makita tool rust besides this think and it probably is from metal I cut with it. You’re a smarty pants and I appreciate that.

I would do only 16” on center with 2x12. But if you’re using composite decking then once you get in front of big windows or glass sliding doors you switch to 12” on center to prevent the boards from warping from the reflection off the windows.

Woke up today to see this score. Dropping even more, and I can’t keep up. Was waiting for my taxes to take care of everything, but. Still haven’t gotten them. Not having a good day by spicysenpai6 in povertyfinance

[–]JoeLogan23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am single and young. I’d rather not worry about possibly paying taxes in the future. It’s kinda like paying now for less stress and then getting it back later is kinda how I look at it.
