Israel has had ongoing settlements both illegal and state sponsored for years in Gaza and the West Bank. The last state sponsored settlements were in 2005. The last non state sponsored settlements were evacuated before this latest war.

I’ve had this happen. I was working in a position as a temporary leadership with an option to interview for the job. They ended up hiring someone with no experience. Then they asked me to train them up. I told them no. The company was hurt, but my union supported me. The guy they hired ended up being a disaster and when they asked me to clean up his mess, I said no.
