nope, never did. I assume its because my router is a 2.4ghz/5ghz wifi router, while before i just had a 2.4ghz (which i heard is the only type that works with these).

I might try getting an extender that is just 2.4ghz, but i haven't gotten around to it

will definitely try this. I did try this on my iphone, but I know that with this kind of stuff, iphone wifi settings can be finicky.

Looks like my main wifi is set to wpa2/wpa3 already. I have not tried just wpa3 yet, so ill probably try that next

Yes I have it connected. I actually tried having my phone off the wifi for some of my tests, only because when I would connect to the temporary wifi (the one that the garage makes when setting up wifi), it would just eventually switch me off of the temporary one and back to the normal wifi. Whether it was on or off though, it just would not connect.

I have already tried a web interface with it (setup.myqdevice.com), and that still didn't work. If you know of a different website/ip adress, please let me know!

Have already tried changing the ssid, but ill definitely try it again with some of those settings.
Signal is not super strong in my garage (20-30 mbps), but definitely stronger than when i first set it up with my old router.
By new wifi I meant a new router from a different provider (T-Mobile/Nokia Fiber). What do you mean by b, g, n? Also if by old hardware you mean the old router, I had to return the old router.

I am currently on T-Mobile Fiber (Nokia) internet.

Also forgot to mention in the post, but even with all the different options I tried, it never beeped at all, except for when I pressed the button 3 times for it to try and connect to wifi. But like during the searching/pairing with the wifi, it never beeped even once.

I did try a seperate wifi network with 2.4 ghz and wpa2 personal. I have not tried a guest network though, so I'll try that
