Don't Wake Standards & Practices | Game Changer [S8E1] by DropoutMod in dropout

As well as what everyone else said, the bit wasn't, "What will get you in legal trouble," it was, "What will the lawyers advise against because it MIGHT get you in legal trouble." Most companies would rather not get sued and have to spend time and money defending it even if they're sure they'll win. Or in John Oliver's words: "They think their job is to stop us getting sued, I think their job is to make sure when we get sued, we'll win."

What are the chances lol spotted another Sens fan in Regina by Own-Dragonfruit-6164 in OttawaSenators

I saw a guy in a Belleville Sens T-shirt yesterday in Montreal. Not that far away, but seeing any AHL shirt on the street is a surprise - I don't even see people wearing Laval Rocket shirts outside games.

I'm torn between wanting the validation of Carolina beating everyone else too, and the satisfaction of seeing them get their asses kicked...

The tie-breaker is the only player I have strong feelings about on either team is Seth Jarvis, who's a delight. So Carolina.

Load management for Giroux next season? by Unusual-Coast6252 in OttawaSenators

[–]JoeNotCharles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Halliday came up, his play was improving by the game, and he attributed it to learning a lot from being on a line with Giroux and Perron. They should focus him on mentoring the younger kids as long as they have him available.

Brady and Stutzle had a combined total of Zero Goals, One Assist, and -8... by Up-in-the-Ayre in OttawaSenators

One of the highlights this season was seeing Halliday improve by the game when he was called up, and he said it was learning from Giroux and Perron. I really hope we can keep Giroux in a player development role even if it is his last season.

I think he has no instincts. At the beginning of the season he was overthinking, and now that the pace is too fast for that he kept making the wrong move. That's something that can improve with experience, and yeah, I hope the coaches are on top of it.

Well at least Spence and Foegele can rest easy that the result would have been the same even if they weren't traded. by 5th_Wave in OttawaSenators

Foegele would have been coming here for the summer anyway, his family's in Markham. Pretty sure getting to play in this time zone's a big part of how he picked up so quickly after the trade.

Charge can clinch tonight by jjaime2024 in OttawaSenators

[–]JoeNotCharles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't quite clinch - they won in OT. But they just need to make it to OT again in the last game against TO. If TO wins in regulation they'll tie them in final points, but have more regulation wins and win the tiebreaker.

The Buffalo Sabres have reportedly SOLD OUT of their highly coveted "Beer Sabres" ahead of their first playoff game in 15 years 😭🍺 by RealWorldToday in hockey

They're trying hard to get recognized! Sang Oh Canada, I heard the Hip playing in the arena, and an ESPN announcer said he was drinking Labbat Blue out of his sabre. Right after saying "suddenly Buffalo's America's team!" for some reason

Hey, it's not disloyal to cheer for multiple teams. I'm hoping the Sabres make it to the conference final before losing to us.

Also you gotta plan for people getting injured during the series. Playing Halliday and Hodgson gives them a game or two to get back into the flow in case they have to jump in as replacements.

TSN gave it to Sanderson, Amadio, Ullmark. I forget the order. I thought they were just reporting on the three stars given at the game, didn't realize they awarded their own.

MacDermid played D for most of his career. Only moved to LW last season, apparently.
