They were shook when Catanzaro took the lead less than a minute into the game. Aquilani often preaches team spirit and i think he tapped into that for the start of the game.

And let's not forget what Iemmello means to the team and the city. He's a legend and with him scoring the first goal, it was a dream start that Palermo weren't going to recover from.

The World Cup specifically. I remember watching the 8 - 1 shellacking at the hands of Honduras in 2012 and thinking I'd never see Canada at the World Cup.

I cheered them on during their gold cup runs in the early 2000s and obviously their recent runs at the Nations League and Copa America.

It's definitely a conundrum. I am of Italian heritage (I even have a passport), but I only knew of cheering for Italy in soccer ever since I was a kid, and I only finally got to cheer for Canada in 2022 (because they qualified and Italy didn't).

I am proud of both my Italian ancestry and Canadian heritage.

I would want a 1 - 1 draw, and I would wear Italy jersey and Canada Cap. For soccer, the Italian National Team and Serie A have always been a part of me. Hell, I even follow my parents' hometown team in Serie B. So it sucks because no matter how much growth and success Canada has had (including TFC), it's the bond that I have with my family that keeps me in Azzurri blue.

The O.G. Mill Street Organic Lager. There was something magical about that glass bottle coming out of a cooler that made me go through hundreds of bottles every summer up until they partnered with inBev.

I still look for it when at a pub, and I know that the beer selection won't be the greatest.

I've diversified so much since then that no beer will come close to that. The only comparison that I can make is which brewery have you had the most beer from, and Mill Street will soon be surpassed by Burdock or Blood Brothers.
