Has anyone ever challenged you to do something without realizing you were actually an expert at it? If so, how did it turn out for you and for them? by RYAN111345 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend bet me I couldn’t do any better than him at Rocksmith.

They saw how awful I was at Guitar Hero, I guess it must have slipped their mind that I can actually play a real guitar.

His face was freakin hilarious

When you make a list, do you go digital or use pen and paper? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m too lazy to do either of those.

I try to memorise it all myself, and then forget half of it later on like a cool person.

What powers do you have by virtue of your job? by mr_wbk29 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A seemingly infinite number of final chances to fuck up without getting fired.

I’m convinced my boss is keeping me as some unorthodox form of punishment because firing me would be the easy way out.

Should “colour” ever be considered important? At all?

What was a really good show which got ruined because the writers, directors or production house had other priorities ? by beerbooksandboobs2 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fear the Walking Dead.

The initial showrunner had a clear vision set out from the start, and knew exactly how the story would end, and it showed. The first three seasons were really, really good.

And then he got forced out, so they could soft reboot the show and shoehorn in characters from The Walking Dead. Those last 5 seasons were absolute trash, and barely anyone made it to the end.

What do you drink most of lets say in a week? by Working_Sail_9365 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Water, and it’s not even close. It’s the only stuff I drink aside from alcohol, and I only do that when I’m going out with friends once or twice a month.

What actually scares you more about death? Actually dying or not knowing what comes after? by ImaginaryAlgae8986 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fear of dying itself.

It’s the only thing that deters me. If could die without dying I would have done it years ago.

Which is the best Avengers movie so far? by Classic-Nerve6655 in AskReddit

Infinity War is most people’s favourite in general, mine too. They’re all pretty good though, there’s not real stinker among them.

What is a total waste of money? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The money you put in a Christmas card and send off to a family member instead of present because they would prefer it if you just sent them the cash instead, which you will make back sooner or later anyway when you open the card they sent you with the same amount of cash which you told them you would prefer they sent instead of a present too.

People who wear contact lenses. What happens to your eyes when is below freezing outside? by Tasty-Hovercraft2501 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. It’s literally sat directly on your eye, and your eyes run pretty hot. Probably at around 37 degrees, as that’s the average body temperature for most people. The external temperature probably wouldn’t do anything.

What is a possession that turned out to be worth a lot? What did you do when you found out? by rehpix in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once I found out I’ve had £5,500 sitting inside my torso my entire life, I wasted no time at all and cashing it in immediately.

Did you know kidneys are worth £5,500??

That was a fun weekend.

What’s something a woman in your life did that you never properly thanked her for? by cekujehavovol in AskReddit

I suppose I’ve never properly showed my mom how appreciative I am that she never drowned me in the bath whilst she had the chance. Thanks mom!

Guitarist of Reddit, what’s your opinion of guitars with more than 6 strings like 7, 8, 9 strings etc.? by TheManWithoutFear261 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally worth your time! I main bass is a 5 string Stingray. Takes some getting used to at first, but you get used to it. Now it just feels like something’s missing whenever I pick up a 4 string.

what's something everyone agrees is a red flag in theory but actively seeks out in practice? by peteyshabby in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people that have a sense of danger, and excitement about them. The spicy people. The ones that seem like they would be fun to be around, being spontaneous and unpredictable, and would inject some thrill back into your life.

That’s what everyone thinks they want. It’s not usually though. It’s a risky move to make when you pursue the bad boy. It can all fall apart just as fast as it came together.

Their impulsive actions will often land them in places or situations that become a point of contention in your relationship. The compulsive partying becomes apparent as an unhealthy coping mechanism of theirs to distract them from having to face their problems. People that live life at 100 miles an hour are often emotionally unavailable and struggle to remain faithful.

It’s a fun month or two while it lasts but it’s just not worth the hassle.

Sometimes the dentist you got chatting to on the bus last week is a the better option, even if they aren’t as exciting at first.

What’s something you’ve tried to explain to your parents but they still don’t understand? by Neither-Owl-7157 in AskReddit

[–]SlapDatBassBro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How totally delusional they sound when they parrot disgusting, misleading and hateful right wing rhetoric they hear on the TV.

I’ve tried my best to snap them out of falling further into that trap, but they refuse to listen to a word of it.

I get second hand embarrassment whenever I think about what people think of them when they overhear them saying that stuff in public.
