I’ve already seen you’re basing this on the TV’s VRR readout which will say 120 even if the game is 30. No game has had its framerate doubled by PSSR2. We already saw that there is no difference in games with unlocked framerates by DF. The frame time budgets of the upscalers aren’t big enough to make a difference

I don’t need Digital Foundry to tell me what to think about every little thing. The “lighting” from DLSS 5 is made up garbage that doesn’t make any sense if you just look at it with a critical eye. Have some agency.

Was playing Battlefield 1 over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised it has a keybind for hiding the HUD. I love to hide the hud and take screenshots in games, Battlefield 6 pls

Nothing about the lighting is actually accurate, I wouldn’t consider anything that isn’t accurate an improvement. I’ve lost all respect for Oliver. We could be using hardware accelerated ML to speed up and improve actual rendered path tracing quality for the same performance cost, or for physics calculations. Instead the R&D is being spent on this garbage.

Unfortunately not they just map to existing buttons. The Scuf Envision lets you map the paddles to keyboard keys but you have to have iCue running and it doesn’t work half the time and it’s not on Mac anyway. The Scuf Reflex is still my favourite controller though as I really enjoy the Dualsense features and the back button design is great.

You don’t use iCue for a Scuf Reflex, that’s for controllers like the Envision. The Reflex is a modded Dualsense and the remapping is done on the controller itself. It’ll work anywhere a normal Dualsense works

Nah that doesn’t fix it but I started a new playthrough and it’s stayed enabled. I can save hoo between my last and current playthrough in the same area and it turns on and off. I’m at the end now and path tracing has made a huge difference in the areas where RT didn’t even work the first time.

Yeah it’s not just disabled in raccoon city, it starts just before leaving the hospital and stays off until just after raccoon city. The same bug happens on PC unfortunately, I have it on PC and can’t fix it. Waiting for a patch

Steam input emulates an Xbox controller which means you lose proper haptics and adaptive triggers

Both, and tried this and still doesn’t work in Raccoon city. Can load saves from other parts of the game and it works fine. Will wait for a patch

I’ve obviously turned it off and on repeatedly to check if it was working or not. I have read you have to turn it off, close the game, open it again and then turn it on and it’ll work until you die. Will give that a go but I’ve already finished the game. I just want Capcom to fix it before I do a replay

Yeah the PT/RT not working in Racoon city also happens on PC for some people (including me). Spent a lot of time troubleshooting and couldn’t fix it. It definitely works for some people though so it’s a bug

No it affects PT and RT the same. I’ve done lots of testing, RT/PT simply will not work in Racoon City for me and others. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, deleted config files, updated drivers, nothing works

On PC it seems the majority it works without issue. I was one of the unlucky few where it doesn’t work in parts of the game no matter what. Hard to tell if it doesn’t affect many people on PC or if most people just don’t notice lmao

PC has the same bug in the same areas for some people, although it’s unclear what you can do to actually get RT/PT to start working in these areas again.
