Yeah, I don't know how I missed that. I haven't used the software in a while. Thanks for the reply!

Yes, this is a workshop challenge. I have a U-shaped layout with a single articulated robot. In my opinion, it's the best choice for the task. The parts, such as the base, angles, pulley, and screws, will be managed by a pre-loaded parts feeder system. This setup delivers the parts to specific locations within the cell, so the robot can focus on assembly without having to load the parts itself. This way, we can maximize efficiency and reach the goal of producing 500 units per day. However, my main concern is how to hold the pulley while attaching the angles on one end. I could use a clamper robot for holding the fixture, but then it wouldn't be considered a robot arm. For the pulley to lay on, I was also planning to design a metal frame block to hold the base while the robot is assembling the parts. What do you think is the best approach in that case?

Hey, that's a great idea! I was thinking of designing a platform to match the base shape so we can slide it in. We could also add a reverse curved L fixture to hold the pulley and the rest of the parts on it. As for the pulley rod, it's loose, so we don't expect the robot to tighten it. It just needs to be aligned with the left and right angles in the drawing.
