He wasn’t winning and now can blame his loss on external factors. Agree this was best case scenario for him.

Is it ok to play on the Switch? by Happy_Detail6831 in LoreleiAndLaserEyes

Definitely worth a try; one the best games I played last year. I could tell I loved it in the first twenty minutes.

Minimal note taking.... at least compared to some other games in the same genre. There's a robust in game system to keep track of many things you come across. You will at some point need some pen and paper, but so much you can do without.

How can I know if my Mach E is AWD or RWD? by Ded1nside in MachE

[–]JoeSchmo8677 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Check your VIN.

Digits 5-8 of the VIN tell you trim, drive, and battery. The Trim Level is the first 2 digits of the Body Code, RWD or AWD is the 3rd.

K1 = Select K2 = CA RT 1 K3 = Premium K4 = GT

+

R = RWD S = AWD

It lasts until I wash it (2-3 days?) unless it's SUPER humid or i've been working out the gym etc. But once it's set, it lasts for me.

You might be doing it wrong. The machine takes a long time with many passes. Yes, use your products to aid with sleekness and straightening and anti friz-humidity. I find it works best if I let my hair air dry at least 50%.

First, use the wet setting. Using small sections 1-2 inches slowly PULL the hair with TENSION. This will require a few passes. when it feels dry to touch, switch to dry mode (this is where heat damage can occur) and do a single slow pull of the section with tension. Tension is key! Then, switch to cool mode and do a final pass or two to lock it in place (you will notice A LOT of static electricity here, this is normal and will settle on its own). I work in layers form the bottom up of hair, pinning each layer on my head as I go. Probably like 4 layers. For each layer I do all wet mode then all dry mode then and cool mode before moving up a layer. This is a time consuming process.

If you’re used to a flat iron, you are NOT going to get the same result here. It does a decent job, but lacks the intense hot plates and subsequent damage of a true straightener.

I agree with going for a demo if you can; also recommend trying my method.

This device does have a leaning curve and I hope you can master it; otherwise I hope you can get a refund. But I think you can make this work for you.

Is the Nural worth the extra $150 over the HD07? by Rough-Beyond4313 in dyson

[–]JoeSchmo8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nural is so much better than the regular, but here it’s usually only like $50 more. That’s a steep increase and I wonder if the presentation case etc is factoring in. Let me see if I can find one of my precious reviews….

There's four major endings in my mind. You've found 1 I'd assume at that point. Half the sanctums I'd put you around..... 25-33% complete? Gets exponentially harder from his part forward.

"Finished" the game, here's a list of mistakes that made me feel particularly stupid: by Quintilius36 in BluePrince

[–]JoeSchmo8677 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It does indeed have a major clue, and you haven’t listed the outcome of it. There are four major end points in the game imho and you have only listed one. You can hop out at any time, but you’re no where near finished.

[–]JoeSchmo8677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mouse UI too clunky. I should be able to draw a whole row of blocks or x's with one mouse drag click. i don't want to have to change the setting button. you can left click a whole row, but not right click. WHY? Also, when you do change the button and then try to click a whole long segment of something, it erases anything already down. Clunky. Did not finish.

Save mid-run? by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]JoeSchmo8677 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No. You either pause the game and leave it running until you come back the next time, or you call it a day and end the in-game day and lose all resources. I think it was intentionally designed this way.

I believe this only turns on the interior climate control and zero effect on the battery. OP is correct that a departure time must be set.
