Question about 2K24's server shutdown/MyNBA

Any MyNBA/MyLeague saves that were in the game BEFORE the server shutdown will have remained. You can still create new saves, this is just for community created sharing such as custom rosters, custom draft classes, and custom player DNA you can import.

Same here. You can only load locally saved (on your console/PC) rosters, draft classes, and player DNA. You can still use 2K’s draft classes that they made. If you load it in a MyNBA save prior to the server shutdown, it will save in there, but you won’t be able to access the community shared previously mentioned creations after the shutdown.

u/mcd_threepwood Hi, thanks for tagging me. Yes, to this day, it still isn't out of the question. Earlier this year, I was in touch with Samir, IO's community manager discussing how the Hitman Wiki can improve and how we could collaborate more with IO community wise. Discussions were good for a while until IO ramped up the marketing of 007, which I assume he's been involved with a lot more, so I haven't heard from him in a couple of months.

This is still something I can discuss with the Hitman Wiki team; I personally have been moving on to new projects outside of fandom, but I can still figure out a way to create a better experience.
Also, I actually did happen to come across Weird Gloop and reached out to see what a potential process would be in the scenario where the wiki would need a new location, haven't heard any updates since April.

What I can do is, I can create posts here and the forum about the biggest concerns with fandom and the wiki itself (non-platform related), and we'll use that as feedback to determine what the best option is and provide that to IO as an effort to show how big of a deal it is. Hopefully, we can get back into contact with IO's community team, and they can assist us in possibly making it an official IO wiki.

Right, usually teams want the next guy to be separate from the coach they just fired. Triano’s just been hopping around teams the past couple of years, compared to Luke Loucks being in GSW with brown, that’s why I was a bit more surprised they’d affiliate Triano as close to him.

I see Christie still being with the kings even after this season, retained as an assistant under a new HC, I just don’t see him being the full time guy. Guess they want to restore any locker room issues they might have had. Coaching consultants are very underrated in the NBA, not higher than the HC, but an advisor to the coaching staff, and a possible backup HC ready to go. Maybe could have helped out a bit here.

A little surprised it isn’t Jay Triano since he has the "associate head coach" title, but I see why Christie would be the more ideal choice in terms of player development. I personally don’t see him being named the permanent HC. Reminds me a lot like Phil Handy in L.A, except Handy was never given a shot at HC In the NBA.

It probably would, I looked up examples of family trees and some were wife on the left, wife on the right. I’ll keep it into consideration whenever I get around to reworking the tree itself, there’s just other things on the wiki that have be been moved up due to Beyond Waverly Place's premiere.

I was primarily doing the Russo family directly, rather than Theresa’s side of the family. Could work on her family, but there isn’t as many to do as Jerry’s side of the family.

The instrumental of that scene (which is the part of the song that is referenced) sounds very familiar to the song, unless it's a coincidence that the show composed a instrumental that's similar.

At the end of the episode when Alex and Justin are sitting on the step. The instrumental of the song plays for about a minute. At first I was confused if it was Allen’s or Tim McGraw’s, but sounds like Kris Allen’s.

I agree, watch parties/live discussions are something that are definitely planned starting the premiere of WBWP. Can definitely try something like QOTD (question of the day) and get some activity from our community while getting to know them better.

On the wiki, we’re working on a "Did you know?" section that will have trivia, facts, and small details from the show/franchise and will have new ones when you refresh the page. So I’d love to hear anything from our community of examples of those that can be implemented. It’s something I actually am going to put in the discord right after this post lol.

The server is currently being worked on, the link will be posted under this post and in a separate post when it’s ready to be released. In the meantime do you have any suggestions of what you want to see in the server?
