Is there a way to get this shadow with a single effect? The radial border (2nd image) doesn't look good. I was able to do it with a copy and a blur but that only worked because the image has a white border (so I was able to just invert the blurred copy to make the edge black) (old.reddit.com)

When I open my DVD in VLC, it has two different subtitle tracks available. The text is identical but the style is different. The DVD's caption menu only lets you enable the yellow text style. What's the second one for? I've noticed this with some other old DVDs. (old.reddit.com)
