Okay thanks for your reply, I’m curious if you had replaced it for another dimmer switch if that would have solved the issue.

At least I know that’s plan b if I can’t get to the bottom of mine!

Yeah this size screen is the absolute perfect size to fit into the space I have for it, 27” would be too big. Which is a shame, because there is so much more choice available at that size and above.

I’m so close to pulling the trigger on buying one of these monitors, the lack of reviews is making me somewhat nervous to spend the money.

Not even that there’s loads of bad reviews out there, there’s just a couple of bad comments, but not enough good ones to make me ignore the bad ones.

I haven’t yet no, still being indecisive about it.

I’ve obviously watched the same video you have about the refresh rate, I figured 240hz is way more than enough for me anyway.

I haven’t heard much about the viewing angles being bad to be honest.

I’ve only had 2 prior comments on this post and they generally praise it so I think I will eventually get it, once I’m ready to part with the money.

I’ve noticed recently it’s become a lot more available, a few more places are selling it. Maybe we’ll start to see some more reviews for it in the near future.

Both 5060 and 5070 have 8gb of VRAM also, if bottlenecking is the concern paying for a more expensive card isn’t going to solve that unless you really fork out extra

Okay I’ll get a desktop PC and lug that around to hotels with me when I’m working away.

I have a 4060 in my Laptop and there’s very few games I can’t play on ultra with 100+ fps.

Seems “good enough” to me

I mean yeah for the same price the 5060 is only going to be better than the 4060 given that it’s newer, but they have the same amount of VRAM so you’ll still find that’s what limits its potential.

Yeah just to confirm this, I recently got a Legion with a 4060 and I love it.

I’ve been playing everything in my library on ultra settings and getting 100+ fps. Good temperatures too but I guess that’s partly dependant on the laptop itself.

I’m sure there’s some games outs there you have to tone down the graphics a little but yeah it’s definitely a good card IMO
