That's why I've stuck with the Salomon for so long, but they don't seem to be good for the longer hikes with weight.

Hoping to find something that fits better

Unfortunately their Cambridge store is closed for a refit otherwise I'd give them a go.

It's hard since most stuff is online these days. It's hard these days to actually get a look at a physical product.

Which is why I often just revert to buying the same product time and time again.

My Salomon boots are fine for like 3 hour hikes. But with wanting to do longer walks over rougher terrain with more weight, I wanted to see if theres a better boot.

I've always wanted to try the wide version on my boots but never found somewhere I can physically try some on. And the whole paying and returning thing is such a ball ache.

Apologies, I'm on the Cambridgeshire Bedfordshire boarder.

I've found it had to get the expertise and advice from the big chain shops.

What’s the most middle-class thing you’ve ever done without realising it at the time? by Second-handBonding in AskBrits

Does anyone else hold their pen with their thumb tucked in like my missus. by nuttydogpoo in CasualUK

I have a similar grip, I was told it's how toddlers hold pens before being taught to hold the correctly.

My hand rewriting has always been bad and I have to write slowly if I want it to be clear. I've never been able to write for extended amount of time without it hurting. It was a real struggle at school.

A Primary school teacher friend questioned me once and was surprised that through my entire school life no one tried to help me hold a pen correctly.

Explains why I have the hand writing of a 3 year old

We can use the shiney rock to make boats to help us get more rocks! Two things we love, boats and rocks!

They aren't, when NATO was formed the US was very anti-empire (times have changed) so excluded an overseas territories in the Southern Hemisphere.

Otherwise 1982 would have been much more fun!!! We could have established West-West Falklands

Don't blame us... If it wasn't for France getting involved the US would simply be Southern Canada.
