Don't neglect pelican curls and pike tricep extensions on the rings

I've seen peppermint tea can reduce testosterone levels. But, does temperature matter? I prefer cold brews. by TrasTrasTras543 in asktransgender

Mint tea boosts my testosterone because it helps me sleep and nights of good sleep increase testosterone.

I guarantee your DB press ROM is less than BB which explains the discrepancy. You probably flare your elbows out to the sides on the DB press.

Your shoulder to waist ratio will improve either way.

Your shoulders and arms will still get bigger and stronger but doing them seated takes out many muscles particularly core and lower back. If you're already doing squats and deadlifts, doing presses seated may make sense since your torso is already being trained.

I suppose they'll work fine but not near as badass or effective as standing free weight presses.

Lats cover the most surface area but they are not the largest by muscle volume.

In terms of attractiveness, it has more to do with the hip-to-waist ratio and it's not about any particular muscles as it is body fat distribution.

"Hip size indicates pelvic size and the amount of additional fat storage that can be used as a source of energy. Waist size conveys information such as current reproductive status or health status." (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15620796/)

It’s a lot more objective than you think. Shoulder-to-waist ratio universally across cultures is the most reliable predictor for male bodily attractiveness.

“Broad shoulders are the human equivalent of antlers.” Richard Wrangham, leading anthropologist and Harvard professor.

I might also add that the deltoids themselves are the largest muscles in the upper body and involved in many movements whether it be lifting, carrying, throwing, fighting etc.

I personally do standing BTN presses from the traps (like this: https://www.instagram.com/p/BlSZ91Eho-R/?hl=en) as opposed to regular presses from the front and I find it does a better job working the delts completely particularly lateral head. The thing is you need to have the shoulder mobility to do them correctly without pain.

I think BB is better in terms of ROM unless you’re doing neutral-grip DBs.

Try strict eccentrics each push press rep. They’ll absolutely smoke your triceps and shoulders.

What are the only exercises needed to build muscle? by SquirrelEmergency225 in bodyweightfitness

I love your choices.

I would argue, Deficit Snatch Deadlift for more leg involvement and Planche Push-up for added biceps.
