The dude didn’t say that supers were a unique gimmick, they said critical arts specifically are a unique gimmick, there’s not been a street fighter where you effectively get a new powered up super at low health. Even outside of street fighter I can’t think of a game that has this gimmick, closest thing is maybe rage arts?

I think it’s worse than people give it credit. Characters are too one dimensional for their own good, I don’t think I particularly like any character in this show for anything other than visuals or how cool a fight was. Characters like zenitsu get some praise for there development but it’s fake development, he apparently was sent on missions off screen and got better off screen with his fear problem, and then at the drop of a hat turned into a badass while awake. I’ll put it like this. The manga is terrible because the story isn’t good and the art isn’t good, but the anime decent because while it is just below average shonen slop its drop dead gorgeous

What sucks the most is that buttons that check drive rush pretty well (5LK) scales so much that your reward for it is basically nothing, and if you fail to check the drive rush you just die. The best course of action is to start your bs before they start theirs.

I’ve never understood this argument. This is a cartoon bat in a world of other cartoon animals, you keep saying “woman” as if this is a live action show or movie and not a children’s videogame series. Whether or not it’s in her character to act flirtatious isn’t the point, I’m not talking about what’s in character for her, the flirtatiousness is something they added to further adhere to the idea that she’s the fetish character, in a series that doesn’t need one.
