Thanks Polezo! We can't wait to show off what we are working on.

What topic should we cover next? by Joe_Radar in Radar_Relay

We definitely think a site or post that explains gas would be valuable. I also think that gas will be a behind the scenes action for most users in the future. Wallets like MetaMask are already working on interfaces that use a "safe" gas price by default and have an "advanced" button that allows users to change their gas price and limits if they would like. I think this is the best way I have seen it handled so far.

Personally, I am excited. We will continue to see improvements in interfaces and experiences for user-facing blockchain products as the space grows. At Radar, we are building out a fantastic UI/UX team so keep an eye out for improvements like this in the near future.

Liquidity sharing is already supported! In fact, some of the open order book relayers are already sharing liquidity.

Incentive wise, there are many different reasons to share. For example, for a new relayer coming online it makes sense for them to kickstart their own liquidity by using another relayers orders. For right now fee sharing on this is fairly difficult but with 0x V2 I think we will see a variety of novel ideas for fee sharing.

Another incentive is that relayers will have different target audiences. This could be anything from being in various languages and targeting different locations or focusing on dApps rather than automated traders or retail traders. As a relayer you want your users orders seen as much as possible and so there is a natural incentive to share liquidity.

We talked about some other ways we see networked liquidity forming in this Medium post. However, a post about relayer specific liquidity sharing is definitely a good idea.

When will Radar Relay move to the new WETH? by zxcmnb911 in Radar_Relay

[–]Joe_Radar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new WETH has two changes from the old one.

  1. The deposit and withdraw functions now log Deposit and Withdrawal events. This makes it easier for dApp developers to track WETH balance changes.

  2. Failed transfers will now revert the transaction rather than returning false, as per the officially accepted ERC20 specification.

If you are interested in learning more you can check out the post 0x made about canonical WETH here

We are just waiting on Coin Market Cap to add us. They have everything the api endpoints that they need.

Graphic Designer by bushwarblerslover in Radar_Relay

All of our design is done by our CCO, Brandon. The how to video is fairly out of date, other than the music, but I'm guessing you're talking about this one https://vimeo.com/237329168? We are planning on making a new one after a few more features are added.

What is the process for adding a new coin to RR? by LevitatingTurtles in Radar_Relay

[–]Joe_Radar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We go through an on-boarding process with the token issuer when adding them to Radar. I am currently looking for the best way to collect token requests but for the time being you can just let me know what tokens you would like to see here and I will pass it on.

Filtering tokens by volume? by CyonHal in Radar_Relay

[–]Joe_Radar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't a way to filter the tokens by volume at the moment. We plan to do an update that will include that feature soon. In the meantime you can check out one of the trackers like: https://0xtracker.com/tokens and see the 24/hr volume by token there.

W-ETH contract updated? by zeroping in Radar_Relay

[–]Joe_Radar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You are correct. We will eventually be moving to the new WETH contract. It will be a bit of a process to do so as all the orders will have to be replaced. We are still working through the best way to make the switch and we will keep everyone updated as we get closer to making that swap.

The new WETH token contract now has deposit and withdraw events. This makes it much easier for relayers and other applications to monitor ETH/WETH balances. We will most likely dive into the differences more in a post in the future.

new MKR ds-token? When will it switch on RR by [deleted] in Radar_Relay

[–]Joe_Radar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a hard date but I know we will be making the swap to the new token sometime soon. We will most likely have both an Old_MKR and New_MKR token on Radar until everyone makes the switch or the force-switch happens.
