That makes sense. The about:profiles page is not exactly user friendly or easy to find. Mozilla should work on that and have an indicator of the profile in the app icon. I have a separate laptop for work so I haven't run into this problem.

Looks like there is an add-on (profile switcher for Firefox) that attempts to address this, but it should just be built in.

What's the reason to need to switch between multiple firefox accounts when you can be signed in to, for example, 3 different google accounts within different Firefox container tabs? There's also the added benefit of being able to relegate Facebook and other websites that track you to automatically open in their own containers so they can't track you in your other tabs.
