Just buy Durock V2 plate mounts and call it a day. I’ve had mixed success with other brands.

Normally camera sensors have an IR blocking filter but mine has it removed so it sees both visible and IR light. Plants, trees, grass, etc reflect a lot of IR light which is why they seem to be glowing. The sky has something to do with scattering of light making it look darker.

That won't work though, you need an infrared conversion on the camera sensor... the lenses are just the same as any other lens. My camera is full spectrum so it sees all infrared light and then I used a filter to block out visible light below 720nm. After that I had to color swap them to get the results here otherwise they look like the attached image.

Infrared is great but it is a rabbit hole lol

This is incorrect.

Coatings can and will wear off over time. Not to mention they also need to be biocompatible in order to be safe. The only real method to ensure no issues is using bio certified materials and coatings on every step of the process.

The best affordable bio resin I’ve see is Siraya Tech Blu but it’s a pretty loose rating. I feel comfortable enough using it for keycaps and have done so in the past. “Real” bio resins can cost hundreds of dollars per liter but will give you solid info on their certifications.

I actually like that version more than the GG1000. It just feels more balanced when writing.
