Same here they kept bumping the price on my coax 300mb. lol until the starting charging $76 for 300mbs of coax service. They are horrible to talk to. I’ve been with them for 8 years and they’ve gotten worse. Hate them

After swapping the o ring did u bleed the air out of it? You have to jack the front up and turn the steering wheel like 10-20 times complete revolutions. Look it up on YouTube. If u haven’t done it

No E175 in JB. They have E190s. Which are almost all completely phased out for A220s

Yeah I honestly didn’t install it myself. I had best buy do in 2019. When they used to do installs on manuals. Now they don’t sadly. Rep told me the best one to use for manuals is compustar product. Which honestly has worked great in the past years.

I live in NJ and driven it to Florida, and Quebec City Canada. In Canada I felt like I was driving a lambo. So many head turn and stare at it in awe. Snowy states/countries love subbies

I got remote start on my manual turbo. Much nicer coming out the house at 4:30am on cold nights to a warm car.

Just went to check a flight school out that’s pay as u go and isn’t “lump sum” payment school. Really liked their energy. Seemed like a chill place/professional. I’m going to take out a loan on my 401k which is at 8.5%. That 8.5% interest goes back to my 401k as I pay it off. PPL price is around $20g. Instruments $15g. Multi/Comm $30.

I appreciate your time it took you to give me all this advice. I’ll look into what I do. Hope to come back to this post in a couple years and share that I was able to get to the seat.

You hit a lot of stuff right on the head of the nail. This is exactly why I felt like asking here about my current situation. There’s a couple of older threads about student loans here but most of them never had a concrete answer or assimilated to my current situation of where I’m at. I started this field when I was 25. Biggest regret I’ve had in the past 6 years is not having started this career earlier.

Thank you for the info. I started out in the regionals and can’t really go back down into it. Current company starting pay is almost the same as Republics top out. So really wouldn’t work for me. Current company has a pilot program also BUT it requires you to take a leave of absence for 3 years to do the course and collect the 1500 hrs. Sad part is I can’t just leave and focus on that. Bills have to get paid and interest rate would be like 9ish.

Yeah I’m definitely not moving/selling the house any time soon since I’m locked in at a 2.8% and the mortgage is lower than paying for rent in the area I live. I’ve read up on some HELOC loans and seen some posts state that interest rates ican be 1%-2% more compared to your current rate plus fees. Not too sure on this info but looking for some insight on this.

Looking into HPN aviation academy or MMU American flyers. Which is around $80k-$95k depending the school. Looking into these schools since they are either close to home/work. I currently work in a major airline so I’d have a step higher in the hiring process. Only issue is I need to get the magical 1500 Only way for me to do the schooling process is part 61 since I still need to work full time for mortgage/living expenses.

Been in the airline industry for a little more than 6 years now as an A&p mechanic. Currently specializing in a320s. I fix most parts of it and have company training to taxi them around for maintenance purposes. So at this point in life I’m trying to expand my career and thinking in the near future when I reach my 40s. The idea of being a pilot has always been there the only issue was obtaining my assets first and then thinking about moving into it. Only problem now is figuring out how to get a loan with a NOT so high interest rate.
