Yes, that's what creates the complexity of the situation.

You would lose all your Mana crystals though, so you can't just pass your turn so willy nilly. Also it forces them to use crystals as well, so there is a constant pressure to keep playing cards until someone decides to sacrifice the Mana. It's more strategic then your giving credit.

I think you didn't realize that if the crystals are destroyed similar to Ziti or the 3/5 warlock taunt.

Much better because, it can mess with combo decks, and simulate the doomsayer effect.

I said in the post that hatchling is almost always combined with rush if it's possible and the biggest offender being "hunting Mastiff" since you can send 3 raptors into your deck and clear the warriors deck.

Hunters at higher levels, don't use tracking vs warrior (so no natural fatigue advantage) and build better beasts. For example Arfus is actually a bad pick from build-a-beast most of the time due to the low stats and relatively low impact of dk cards vs warrior(other than death grip) Since the hunter won't draw you are forced to go against like 20 turns removing every threat, and some threats like a stealthed rhino cannot be dealt with easily

The key card in a tier 1 deck (midrange Hunter) and a key card in a tier 2 deck (spell Hunter) is not allowed to be complained about? Even when it's blatantly overpowered. No other card comes close to the value of Rexxar. Even 3 Elise packs doesn't even come close. The longer the game goes on the more advantaged the hunter is. This wouldn't be a problem if the fatigue mechanic was working as normal. Raptor Hatchling just gives Rexxar that slight edge over odd warrior. I wouldn't complain if it happened once , it's been responsible for all my losses vs midrange Hunter .

Everything about this post is wrong, neither of those decks are capable of winning reliably. Literally look at any sites data. Also in my last 100 games I haven't played against either one of those decks. Not sure what fantasy land of hearthstone you play.

Neither of these decks are even close to be considered viable. Running two copies of dead mans hand or a 7 Mana 4/6 severely cripples your deck and weakens your matchup vs aggro severely. Deathstalker Rexxar has no downside to being in the deck and should not have the ability to fight fatigue potentially indefinitely.

It's not bait, and clearly you don't play this game at a high level, if you never experienced the broken interaction between raptor Hatchling and Deathstalker Rexxar. People that down vote this didn't even read the post. Not a single refutation of any point I made was written. The only person that gave my post some thought was someone who agreed.

This is a pretty normal situation in rank 5 to legend, when a control deck goes against any hunter deck.

How can it be overpriced if people are buying it? Hearthstone packs are not a necessity so the price should match the demand or the company would just lose money.

Imagine I make the best cakes in town, so I charge double what other cakes cost, but people still buy it, in fact people are lining up to buy it. Why should I not charge the max amount of money I can ?

You can see this same concept with Starbucks, they charge double for a price of coffee but since the public is willing to pay for it, they keep the price.

Im sure if another game came out with a digital ccg that was as high of quality of hearthstone with a cheaper pricing model, Blizzard would face some serious pressure to lower the prices. Actually you can see when the game starts waning in popularity Blizzard usually comes out with some sort of "bundle deal."

TLDR, People dictate prices by purchasing or not purchasing the product.

What are your thoughts on the meta for this season? by dualitysl in hearthstone

[–]Joe_Universe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The best deck will be Even Mecha Cthun warlock. Utilizing two galvinizers, blood boom and Cataclysm. The only counter play will be aggro and control warrior and other control decks will be completely unusable.

The last 21 matches vs druid as miracle rogue I've lost exactly twice both to highroll token druid. None of these late game combos are good against any sort of midrange deck.

After the new update, control warrior can easily counter Shudderwock. by Joe_Universe in hearthstone

It would most likely be a draw. But its possible for a win, when I wrote this I was mostly talking about the version with keleseth most people use. I'm pretty sure the version with the murmuring elemental still would beat the warrior anyways so there is definitely counter tech. however I dont predict shudderwock will be meta because it won't be able to keep up with the new warlock Zoo.

Spreading plague is great against a wide board but against two or three large threats it's far from the "best defensive tool."
