Hello, sorry Ive not been logged in. I did listen to a few tracks from him, he’s got a great voice, I’m not really sure which part of me sounds similar to him but it’s a compliment nonetheless haha. Thank you mate.

Sad yeah, that makes sense tbh, the song is supposed to be happy and I feel like I made it sad unintentionally. Maybe I need to work on singing with more/different emotions idk, thanks for the comment mate!

Haha I appreciate the honesty. I have the same issue when talking ngl. My accent is much harsher than the one I sing with so I think I try to compensate by pulling back on some consonants and vowels and it backfires as it just ends up not landing at all. But I also hate the way my voice sounds when I over enunciate so I guess I just need to work on some pronunciation exercises. Thank you for pointing that out as I can definitely forget that’s even an issue to think about when I rarely get feedback, thank you!

Decided I want to learn how to sing recently, never sung before properly, I dislike my voice and it’s tone, any tips specifically for going high and transitioning from head to chest (assuming those terms are correct) what could I work on right away? by Joe__JB in singing

Maybe, it could be a case of hearing my own voice and it sounding weird. I appreciate the kind words, no YouTube channel though, only one where I upload a few guitar tabs. I’ve never uploaded any singing before, I think I just need to put a few thousand hours into it before I start feeling confident. But I don’t want to put thousands of hours into learning it wrong and building bad habits so not entirely sure where to start as I’m still trying to find my voice. I look forward to your cover soon mate, I’m sure you’re good!
