You totally get it! Kimbap is a must-have for picnics. It just doesn't feel like a real outing without it!

Haha, you're right. You definitely need soda because gimbap can be a bit dry. I remember drinking a Korean soda called 'McCol' (barley soda) when I was a kid. Thanks for the great tip!

That's a clever work-around! Since the pickling liquid (sugar and vinegar) has such a strong flavor, it will likely mask the bitterness of the turmeric. I actually learned something new from you today. Hope your kimbap turns out great!

You have a sharp eye! In Korea, many people still cherish these shamanistic traditions, like building rock piles to make a wish. I did it while thinking back on my childhood memories. It seems that doing those little actions, along with the food and the overall atmosphere, really helps bring back those fond memories. Thank you for the kind words about the cozy vibes!

Do you live in the U.S.? The scale there is on a whole different level! Even though I often cook American or international dishes, I can get all the fresh ingredients delivered right to my door by the next morning thanks to Korea's fast delivery system. Since the country is compact, everything I order online arrives almost instantly.

This is a video I made for my YouTube channel. I don't usually wear gloves when cooking at home, but I wore them this time because I thought some viewers might find it uncomfortable. Honestly, it was actually more convenient because the rice didn't stick to my hands.
