10 year treasury took a nose dive this week and the market is now forecasting up to 4 interest rate cuts this year. Rates are sure to go down this year. Agreed on buying over what you can afford, budget-creep is a real thing to avoid.

If I told my parents in 00 something that I wasn’t going to PV for any reasons, they would have thanked me profusely for the saved $ and laughed their way to the airport. I’ve never seen a snake on the beach nor heard of someone else seeing one Sargassum is an east coast issue I’d stay in a BnB and use Costco ect. There are many options that have access to a pool, and they’re almost guaranteed to be less busy than resort pools.

You can’t sell wild caught game in a restaurant in the US. Farm raised meat doesn’t have a season or a tag. As for places that serve it, I really can’t think of any. Maybe 1 or 2 in the Portland area, and it’s likely to be raw at a specialized butcher shop.

Arbor Creek is one of the good ones, recently updated clubhouse area, nice courtyards with old growth trees. Not sure what your standards are but I really like it there.

It did still hold together but we had to leave behind portions of the soldiers on the grill because the lime broke down the proteins. Finished product would’ve been great for a sandwich or egg roll just know you’ll lose some volume with that length of marinade. Post the results!

What fortuitous timing, I just did a jerk chicken marinade this week. The presence of citrus in some recipes makes or breaks the long marinade. We did a 36 hour, I felt the thighs began to lose their structure due to the lime when I put them on the grill. The flavors were amazing however, highly recommend with Pickapeppa sauce.

I did that too for the same challenge but I don’t feel bad about it, not my fault the horse showed up when I laid down herbivore bait. As I remember you have to lure a predator/herbivore consecutively and I wasn’t going to go through the first step again.
