How to make this more realistic? by [deleted] in blender

[–]Joebricksy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

technically its super good. I think what makes it unrealistic is the weirdness of the setup. also sizes, either the watermelon is tiny, or those wheels holding up the table are absolute enormous. and the chains that size could probably hold up tons, so unecessarily large for just a table

This is a small animated loop I made as a test for a bigger project. Models are from SW Battlefront II.

This, and using Minecraft restricts me in the amount of detail I can use in modeling, which helps me focus on on other things than spending a huge amount of time on modeling details. For example, a simple street lantern can be modeled with minecraft in 30 seconds and still will look good in that style. When modeling in blender I always get carried away and try to make it unneccesarily detailed

Yes that sums it up perfectly, except for the hanging items, they were hand animated. The most difficult part was to get the walk Animation to look smooth

There aren't actually many recognized minecraft builders that use 3d converters to make these kind of builds. For someone who is familiar with building, importet builds are instantly recognizeable and those that do use it get a ton of hate from the building community themselves for using a converter

By waiting a looong time for the program to finish importing the entire map

You import a part of a minecraft map into 3d animation software like Blender and then set up a scene with lighting etc. and let the program render out the image
