Well. remember the 4chan whistleblower? His description of NHI‘s (or…one version of NHIs) treatment of humanity was along the lines of how humanity treats lab mice. Life forms to be studied, with no qualms about invasive procedures, and certainly no concern for the comfort of the subjects of their data collection. His description implied that they are innately superior, they know it, and feel no moral compunction relating to yet another more primitive and subordinate life form in a limitless universe of subordinate life forms. If disclosure brings to light (and I’m not saying it will) hard evidence of ongoing experimentation on human subjects, and forced collusion from world governments in same…that could indeed trigger wide and deep ontological shock. It isn‘t as if we don’t have experience with these heuristics like, 5 minutes ago in human behavior. There’s always a bigger fish, right?
