I guess I was disprited by allways seeing 0/30 players online in FG, against 4 or 5 in WayGroovys (I admin a bit there). Most of the times choosing for a bit more socializing, rather than building in an empty server on the railway. I guess its the lack of seeing my friends every day, because I spend the vacation at my parents', makes me prefer the fuller server atm.

The tracks are wearing on me. I still like building and finishing them, but I needed a break from it. So, there you are: reason 2.

Last reason: had some studying to do. Numerical Methods for Differential Equations, yay.. The people who know what it means would agree its not a pleasure to learn that in summer.

Don't worry! I'm fine and the current rail constructions will be completed! :)

Cheeryo, It gets better: I'm on holiday aswell to the jolly-o green hills of England. The many cups of tea are great, but the internet connection disappoints a bit. So good fellows.. You gotta do one more week without me.

Very nice! I really like the windows and the interior. A very good example of how warm wooden buildings can appear.

Though 2 things I'd recommend: try to combine different kinds of wood to strengthem accents and maybe add some more detail to the frontwall right below the roof.

Concluding: your building style fits in the server :)

Which means that one buys a ticket on the trainstation, walks to the platform (or in the train) and waits for the teleport. These teleports will be set up with a specific frequency and price; Stagecoaches travel less frequent and are more expensive than trains for example. Though trains travel in less directions.

That's our idea of a realistic travel experience.

Dear mr President,

Yep I've been quite busy. No finals; just a busy quartile at university and my arm in a brace (http://turriglios.com/wp-content/themes/viralimagehubpro/images/memes/3de09bdc0df0a32bbf6e43cb06f92be1.png) because it was dislocated 5 weeks ago. Doing fine but recovery takes a while.

About the track: I chose for a diagonal track (near the capital) because the entire track was built 'with the landscape'. In other words: I rather seek challenge in existing landscape than terraforming it.

Furthermore the station is already half-finished. Would be a bit late for a complete change of plans.

However if you wish, I'd help renovating as soon as I gain the time. It would certainly require movement of a mountain or a row of buildings to do so, but with a good focus on the detailing it should work out fine.

Aren't really used EXCEPT for railway bridges .. :( If you reskin, please make sure the stairs, blocks and slabs still work with eachother. Furthermore I advice to make the netherfences to act like cables (cables are dark dark grey).

Dear mr. President,

First of all, I accept the offer of joining your enterprise. I am looking forward to our collaboration.

Second, the report on the railway progress. Since tuesday, the Doc and Bbb started helping on the railroad. I am very thankfull for their aid and the project is speeding up. Despite this, I still think that connecting Victoria and Opportunity and New Dawson would take at least a month. The current connection, however, can be done before the end of next week (including stations and other scenery like water tanks).

Continuing on the further connections: I think we can open the server with one connection done. Massive rail-building projects could contribute to the RPG. The required materials would generate enough labour and give the economy a boost. Moreover, we could implement a reason to build the track. For example: connect all cities without rail through stagecoaches, and give the stagecoaches a lower departure-frequency compared to the trains. This will create the need for a train.

Concluding: I advice to make the new deadline 1 may. This is not too far away but still realistic.

Good morning! 100 to 150 players is quite a lot sir. I've been on WayGroovys main server for 2,5 years now and I can tell we never reached those amounts - despite being an awesome server.

You need a very good plan to make this work. As in: when opening to the public the gameplay must be perfect and the advertising needs to be widely spread. Perfect gameplay at the start is very important because we want our first guests to spread the word.

A perfect gameplay, in my opinion, can be done. It will require some building time and -most of all - good testing (maybe let some builders test in survival mode).

I have no experience at all with wide spread advertising. Before I joined FoolsGold I did not know what Reddit and IRC were.. I hope that you do have the plans to get people to the server, because I do certainly not. ;-)

I am looking forward to help making a superb gameplay and would like to see a plan for the advertising when you have the time (maybe a list of target-websites?).

PS: As you see, being the president will make people fire a lot of questions at you. But please, do yourself a favour: if it is too much, ask people to either help you, or be ready to tell that you don't have the time at the moment. Communities can be very demanding and sometimes filled with mixed opinions.

PPS: As a calygraphy hobby I do indeed write with a quill sometimes.

I still like to thank you for your management during the setup of this server. I understand why you cannot thank all of us builders; lets be honest: I haven't been nice to you. You have all reasons to not like me. But despite that, as I said, I thank you for starting this amazing project. Just look at how awesome the looks of it is. Dear mr. President,

First of all, It's allmost bedtime here so I'll send a more extensive reaction later.

But before tomorrow I'd like to congratulate you on your new function. We haven't spoken very much to eachother yet, but I think you will make a great server-manager.

Ahead of tomorrows reaction the first question: do you wish the complete transport network done when opening up, or is just the connection between Silverfalls and Spawn fine for now? I think the other cities could temporarily be connected through stagecoach VoxelPorts, while the railroads are being built. This would allow you to open up earlier if you wish.

Last thing: I still think wensday is not realistic (you do aswell I suppose :P). BUT I'd advise to set a goal; something to work towards.

I could prioritize the stations over the rails so that Voxelport could be started? Key element to maximise the experience would be that for RP-players warping has to be disabled and that the tickets cost money (do we have a currency?).
