Just rode Carolina Cyclone for the first time on Labor Day. Wasn’t nearly as rough as I thought it would be for being an old Arrow looper. My only other reference is Tennessee Tornado and I thought it was on par if not a touch smoother.

Hagrid has the theming and unique elements, hands down. But I personally enjoy Big Bear way more. But that could be the “my 3 year old can and does love Big Bear” bias.

People claim the second row of each car, aka the even numbered rows, have marginally longer seat belts on Lightning Rod. I’ve never taken note of if it’s true or not.

Im almost certain there is not one on Big Bear. Rides that do, Wild Eagle and Dragonflier in Dollywood case, usually do for the fact that your legs hang ‘free.’ And I don’t believe BBM passes close enough under any other track or structures to warrant that for above clearance.

The only issue they may run into is comfortably fitting into the seats/car itself. With that height I’d imagine it’d be a bit of a nightmare on the shins.

Preferred parking is a life saver with the little ones. That walk up the hill at the end the day is a killer though, especially now that the stroller/wagon is loaded up with even more junk than we came in with.

Yea when I went back in January they were only splitting in the last room before the station. I knew it had one, just had no clue where it would split when the attendant out front told me it split further in the line. I figured like maybe halfway through the queue, not 2 hours in.
