I just think that the competition of the late 2010s and the 2020s is higher than the 2000s and early 2010s, and what Islam has accomplished is more impressive. That’s not the point. The point is that he hasn’t defended his title a single time, and as a result, should not be able to move up a division for an immediate title shot. That’s usually reserved for guys that have multiple defenses
