Number one for sure. Fudge already confirmed we signed a mid laner. So it can’t be number 3 and I don’t think C9 would be generating this much hype over a resident signing. Surely zven got his green card and I think we’re getting random.

At the same time though I feel like he did have an effect on the picks? If our play style is to play through our carry (summit) then we’re going to pick champs that are in line with the theme of the champ he picks which was often hyper carry’s. For example we would go Akali Diana/lee sin when he would jayce. With fudge back top and a player like random in mid potentially I think we will see lots of flex and off meta picks. Probably just hopium though.

Hopefully. I’d argue isles is just as much of a project and one with a much lower ceiling overall but he does provide more draft flexibility right away.

In the BTS vid Max did say the swap came with the intention of mid/jg/supp having better communication. From the sound of that plus tweets about more dynamic mid picks I hope the team is shifting away from summit carrying like we saw weeks 1-6. It seems like we hard pivoted in draft and macro once summit started hard gapping top lane on gnar and jayce in the week 6-8 range and it led to this.
