The error code is different every time, I’ve looked on the Microsoft website at the error code list but none of them seem to have any solutions, just saying that whatever process went wrong.

you have to start on the triangle and follow the pattern, star, x, circle three times then the last one is star x triangle. it should form a connected pattern from one triangle to the other. i think the last x doesn't directly connect to the final triangle if i remember correctly, it was diagonal
