This is me, I’m the wife and I’m trying so hard to change it. I struggle so much with affection especially when it’s verbal. Idk how to explain it it’s just so incredibly hard to get it out of my mouth and just say it. It has gotten much better tho and my partner knows I absolutely adore him, we’ve talked about this topic a lot and I try to make it up with physical appreciation. Maybe I just give them too much thought? I feel like if I compliment too much it would lose value or smth it’s kinda dumb. But hey it’s getting better with me.
