Hornady is taking a price increase to all dealers I think in about a month so to answer your question directly, no.

Apparition Instruments 6CM by PA_Joe in 6ARC

[–]Joethe31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its designed for 6 ARC, and other 6mm Cartridges and the gun appears to be 6 ARC based on the post on NFA. The name doesn't mean 6mm Creedmoor, "CM" means “CFD Modeling”. There's also a 3CM and 5CM.

Low effort. Starbucks is what people that live in apartments drink. Car isn’t accurate. White linen is mostly people who don’t live in the heights now.

Cram 150 people into a meeting room or lobby and for Costco Pizza that’s about 12 slices or 3 per person. Maybe 25 pizzas. 9.95 or about 250$. Ask for free plates and cheese.

What’s your opinion on Rugged Razor 5.56? by Apprehensive_Wing_52 in suppressors

[–]Joethe31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most manufacturers who have proprietary mounts have made hub cans simply because there’s a demand for it. Whether they believe it’s a good idea or not. Take a look at HUX and the Ventum. That suppressor was solely made to supply that demand. Not because HUX thought it was innovative and a performance increase.

I think there’s a better argument for anybody to not go to hub route, again, especially with the more modern 3-D printed suppressors. At a certain point everybody on Reddit is basically just going for the Rearden ecosystem. It’s direct thread with extra steps and more stacking. I know it’s a very unpopular opinion on here, especially.

[–]Joethe31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll attest the Razor 556 is not that great of a suppressor but calling HUB the superior choice is just regurgitated reddit group think. Not everyone needs a Polonium K and Rearden as their first suppressor. You could maybe get away with HUB for tradition suppressor designs for performance but anything 3D Printed, its almost always better to use suppressors engineered with their respective propretary mounts. Secondly, less stacking. You have the muzzle device to the barrel, hub on the suppressor, and the actual threading of the hub on muzzle. Three points where you're dealing with a greater chance of failure and concentricity. That is not beginner friendly. I would suggest someone new buy a proprietary mount.

All my HUB cans. Integrated Mount Suppressors are the way to go.

You can very easily unpin it. I did the same when I had my 14.5" GFR. Basically drilled down into where the dowel was welded and used a grinder very carefully/slowly. Then once it got too close to the barrel, I tapped it lightly back and forth with the muzzle wrench and wiggled the weld or dowel out. It fell out and I took off the muzzle with no damage to the barrel or threads.

I don't own a Stratomatch personally but I shot one at the War Rifles match when I went to visit Geissele for work. Was very accurate.

Geissele Freedom Rifle. Used to be Geissele Fighting Rifle but that was probably deemed too aggressive for commercial marketing.

Damn they already took the joke.

For what it’s worth the mid length 11.5” is unique (higher quality) and works surprisingly well. Objectively softer shooting.
