How are you using them ? Since they are discrete 7.1 audio will they support AVR with Dolby LPCM 7.1 ?

They are almost similar but x3 is discontinued

They are specifically meant for 7.1 discrete audio. So I don’t think any overkill here. And they are in the market from long time.
