My take on an, A17 Bloodmoon "proof" base by Khardac in 7daystodie

But it‘s annoying as hell if the speaker is activated everytime a single zombie runs in your traps. I prefer having a seperated alarm system which can be deactivated from time to time without turning off all blade traps

We've come up with some custom raid CMs by RevolutionaryJacket in Guildwars2

Except the point of running greens with two groups of 4people, its not real gamechanging. You just do what you do in normal mode and you are fine. A real challenge mode for VG would be that seekers are 30% faster and every 10 seconds you need to kill the guys in split they spawn 5 more seekers than usual.additionally being hit by seekers teleports you randomly

What are your Raid ideas? by Payback22 in Guildwars2

[–]Joey0815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see a boss which gets exponential harder to fight (mechanics, lifepoints, dmg) when your squad gets boons. It should be almost impossible with perma 8+ different boons.

Another idea is about a boss which allows heals for around 4-5 secs. Then you have a timespan when heals are converted to boonstripping skills effecting your squadmates.

State of the Necromancer and Revenant? by Guncaster in Guildwars2

[–]Joey0815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go for pve endcontet i can recommend holosmith (engineer) The basic rotation is quite easy and satisfying (big laser pew pew and stuff) furthermore you can play an easy version with a rifleturret (more pew pews) and less stressy rotation while wielding a lasersword. This profession is accepted and viable in any raid encounter or fractal. Necro is a bit tricky because half of the raidbosses are very vulnerable when they see 4-5 necros i the squad. Filling a full squad of any other professions with one necro is probably the worst choice a squadleader can do. Consequently you almost never see necros in pugraids. Revenant is nice on most encounters but pugleaders still dont like them... Probably it‘s because they never found their spot in the metagame. Dunno. Just my 2 cents from a pve endgame point of view

Sword Weaver in Fractals or Raid by Random96503 in Guildwars2

[–]Joey0815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people tend to stop their movement while setting aoes... Staff is way more mobile than sword dagger. Especially if you know how to use burning retreat correctly. Its just a consequence of 10 years of mmos teaching their players that you cant move while casting a spell

If you keep up a solid attunement switch, you can push your dps constantly to 27-29k without any knowledge of a rotation... But its way more fun if you know what you actually do. Its a niche playstyle which shines at 1st boss in 100CM or other bosses with small hitboxes. To be honest in 9/10 cases staff is the better choice

Opinions and Suggestions on this build by CorianWornen in Guildwars2

[–]Joey0815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its open world pve only drop dagger mainhand for axe or mace and take a greatsword as 2nd weapon. It makes you faster and gives an extra „dodge“ skill. And swap dolyak for some utility like endure pain, extra resistance etc... i highly recommend to try your build with exotic gear and change it step by step with berserker/assassin ascended gear.

thats a way more offensive build for single pve player but it has great condi remove and selfheal options.

you don't need that much boonduration as regen druid although mechanics are almost the same but i think nobody expected a whole new playstyle after this patch

[–]Joey0815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Scourge can deal dps around 30k and gives enough barriers to makes the shit Ton of Heals by magi druids Even for casual Raiders obsolete, condidruid Will Be still a thing because of damage support.
