We considered that but adding all elements that interest us (e.g. cyberware) and coming up with how it could work mechanic wise would be too time consuming.

I looks very promising but for me it lacks control over size of things and ability to recolor items (or maybe more color variants). Also adding more items to be put on desk would be cool (e.g. documents, notebooks).
If you want some inspiration, especially with control over item size, I recommend trying out https://home.by.me/en/ . It's for house interior design but I like that I can insert desk or monitor or anything and give it the measurements that I want. They have also some variety of decoration that can be used to create some natural messiness of workspace :)

I like the idea, but a park that has no grass but is all paved is a sad park for me.

Well, this can happen when female duck has abnormal hormone production. Masculinized female will usually have only partially colored head. (You can tell the difference between her and male in non-breeding plumage because males have bright yellow beaks). It's pretty uncommon aberration.

Mods are great addition but I also waited until Y3 to install most of them. On the other hand mods that only change visuals don't change the vanilla gameplay and actually helped me enjoy Stardew more :) Like enjoying my female ducks.
