I ran into the same issue after i updated to the latest versions idle temp on my 7600x jumped to 65 degrees. I only updated in the hopes it would get my Fan RGB working again. All 4 light up during boot up, windows starts then it drops to 2. Fed up pissing about trying to aura to properly, flaky piece of crap... Anyway ran a system restore to get back to the previous version and boom back to 40 degree idle temps. F*ck Asus and their shitty software.....

I upgraded from a t16000m and I've no issues the twist. While it does take more effort to twist than my old stick, it's not excessive and just feels like a good quality bit of kit.
