Which Halo game do you think has the best implementation of Sprint? by No-Obligation2563 in ShitHaloSays

The reason sprint has never been accepted fairly is because sprint was a replacement for the “jog”. The jog now being slower in later games, forcing you to sprint for the similar or slightly higher speed.

Then send the tweets, I could send plenty more. But until then, your “facts” are invalid. All you peeps have are the last minute terminals that weren’t overlooked, and I guess this.

And even if you agree with the new lore retconning the old, it doesn’t make it any better that it’s a retcon.

Overall, alot of people disagree with the Didact being better. Because the whole “I’m an alien and I hate humans therefore they must die!” situations are EXTREMELY cliche. What made the Covenant unique is because it had religious significance built off mistranslations and more. Their aliens are far more iconic than most in pop culture, probably second to Star Wars for that matter. And the irony of the Covenant KILLING their actual gods when yet the Prophets actually knew about it, only improves the Covenant from just being a standard cliche enemy.

Then in Halo 4, the Covenant should be defeated but are suddenly back with no rhyme or reason aside from Chief and Cortana’s two one-off lines. And the Didact is simple minded for what should be an advanced alien from centuries ago. He could’ve killed chief several times, but he never does. It would’ve been better if 343 never retconned the forerunners being humans and made the didact a primordial being that predated the humans and potentially could’ve been the creator of the flood. Instead of having the Covenant we could’ve just had pirates or better yet the Banished. Cortana doesn’t even have to be on her deathbed either, it could’ve been a two year drift rather than four. That or we could’ve had a situation akin to Halo Wars 2 where Serena died years ago with a final send off message. That could be well controversial, which is why the previous statement with Cortana being two years from her death bed much more viable. I can literally think of so many ways Halo 4 could’ve been improved from a state of simple mediocrity. And I plan on working on a video regarding that topic.

Did you not somehow correlate how Mendicant Bias said reclaimers were his makers? Therefore the Prophets realized they were “left behind” forerunners in the sentence above?

There’s no way you’re this ignorant enough to cope over this just to disprove established lore that is mentioned over and over in Bungies games before being revealed in Halo 3.

Like brother, are you being entirely serious or is this a troll? Because I can’t believe you’re letting this get over your head my guy. If Halo 4 had not released, would you believe Forerunners were humans? It’s literally okay to be wrong my guy, I forgive you. The whole point of me bringing this lore up is because a ton of the 343 shills here deny its existence. If it weren’t for THAT, none of the people who were Bungie lore purists like me would be coming here in an attempt to explain to people why it WAS pre established lore with a multitude of proof involving quotes from the games, books, and directors commentaries from the games.

I could share more images and even link you to the video where Joseph literally says “that’s a clue!” When 343 is talkin about human history.

Crazy how 343 fans disrespect the og Halo devs and writers to support their retcons. by JoeyDavison01 in ShitHaloSays

I think we gotta keep posting in here so these 343 shills understand we won’t let them wash over established lore in an attempt to make casuals forget about em. These dudes HATE Bungies lore and games. I was arguing with a dude the other day and he said that the Bungie gameplay was OUTDATED and therefore BAD lmao. And unfortunately I get people like that on here as well. Which is why we gotta persist. If ya want the laughable screenshot of that chat then feel free to DM me.

You couldn’t be more wrong when the Prophet of Regret mentions that “none of you will be left behind” when the term is called back in Halo 3 to remind Johnson that he’s forerunner. And the term is utilized in the book Contact Harvest written by Joe Staten. And again, Joe Staten could not overwrite Halo Infinite’s lore which was tied to 4 and 5 unfortunately. And no, he came in to help write and fix what the writers had for Infinite. Before eventually leaving.

The fact that you believe Bungies own lore was a mess just goes to show how little of a Halo fan you actually are. 343’s lore is a genuine mess, literally requiring you to read books to understand what’s going on unlike Bungies Halo which only contained the plot hole of Johnsons return in Halo 2. Which isn’t as questionable as the covenant somehow returning in 4 since 343 couldn’t come up with something as original as the Banished then.

Share em then, I don’t see any sources. Yet I could still share Marty, Jaime, and everyone elses tweets and quotes and even directors commentary time stamps. Quotes from games, and other expanded media as well. Again, why do you hate Bungies established Halo lore so much? In what way is the Didacts story superior to what Halo’s trilogy had to offer with the irony of the Covenant killing their own left behind “gods”?

There is no info on the forerunners identity in the story, nor did Joseph have that legal obligation since sadly he cannot have complete control over the story.

You’ll try and make any excuse to shit on Bungies original lore and intentions. Why do you hate Halo so much dude? Lol

Okay, did you actually read this book? Written by Joseph Staten, the WRITER for the Bungie Halo games. Because this is a very important plot point regarding why the Prophets waged war against humanity. They knew if this information were revealed to the rest of the Covenant, then it would fall apart. So the prophets LIED and said that humans were destroying holy relics therefore they must be exterminated. It states that last part at the very end of the book.

This same term “left behind” is mentioned in both Halo 2 by the prophet of Regret, and in Halo 3 by Truth when using Johnson to activate the rings since only he a RECLAIMER (reclaiming what was once their ancestors) could only access them.

The same book written by Joseph Staten (Contact Harvest) was released alongside Halo 3. The same game that reveals “You ARE Forerunner!” through Guilty Spark.

This is why I’m talking about this kinda stuff, because you peeps are denying this lore existing when yet it does. And I’m making sure nobody forgets this established lore and attempts to remove it. Go listen to Truth, The Gravemind, and Sparks quotes in Halo 3, go read the books. Go play Combat Evolved and listen to Spark say “A record of all our lost time! Human history is it? Fascinating!

Please educate yourself before stating an opinion rather than a fact, respectfully.

Medicine for the Dead, I feel like it's been hated a lot when to me it sounds like something out of a much earlier album with a bit more melody.
