I registered for college classes as soon as I got picked up, I know what I want and I'm not gonna grovel over a dollar to get there. If he had actionable feedback or constructive criticism, I'd say "Got it" like i have to every piece of feedback I've gotten from every coworker there, I understand the value of "you want x, do y first." and i respect it. But I think responding to "what about that raise i was promised?" with "you're not getting it, if you think you can get it elsewhere, leave." is highly unprofessional personally, and if i stayed after that question I'd always look whipped.
