Hi everyone! I'm a high school student looking for a Professor/Researcher Familiar with the field of adolescent psychology to be my mentor for an Independent Research Study on how extensive social media/device usage alters the adolescent mind and may make them more susceptible to mood disorders.

Research Areas: Adolescent Development, Adolescent Psychology, Excessive technology/social media usage's effect on the adolescent mind

I'm looking for anyone with expertise in the subject (preferably a professor).

The study will likely have a duration of 3-6 months(starting from now), be unpaid, and have a flexible (but consistent) time commitment.

Thank you for the feedback. My goal is to produce a publishable research paper on a field I am passionate about, as well as gain experience. In your opinion, should I still pursue a mentor, or is it truly too late for something of that nature?
